Kroll teams up with Enex Carbon to expand presence in Australia

Kroll Inc., a corporate investigations & risk consulting firmrecently announced a tie-up with Enex Carbon, an Australia-based leader in cyber security management & a pioneer of SCaaS, to expand the reach of the firm's cyber risk solutions in Australia, report sources.
For the record, Enex Carbon has substantial experience serving diverse client base across Europe, Asia & Australia, along with major ASX 200 organizations & enterprises. The company's Security Culture as a Serviceoffering (SCaaS) mirrors its core focus on the human factor of cyber risk & commitment to help businesses to get away from the compliance-based security awareness method to one that advances a firm's cyber risk maturity at a foundation level by individual & overall cultural change. The principals of Enex Carbons also have significant expertise in cyber security governance & management initiatives.
Reportedly, the deal initiates Kroll's foray into Australia to growing local resources in Asia-Pacific, where more than one-third of the global number of cyber security events occurred, as per a 2008 report. The region is the center of a global growth trend due to innovation & technological development. The Enex Carbon team is expected to join cyber risk practice of Kroll & will be led by Asia Pacific leader and MD, Paul Jackson.
Enex Carbon's proprietary technology is expected to expand the scalability & scope of Kroll's offerings, as their vision aligns with Kroll's, providing clients with cyber resiliency solutions, ranging from detecting & providing response, to remediation, restoration and hardening.
Jason Smolanoff, Senior MD and Cyber Risk Practice Leader at Kroll was reportedly quoted saying that organizations that create & reinforce strong cyber security systems easily alleviate cyberattacks, and also respond & recover quickly, if the incident takes place.
