Zebra Medical partners with Medsynaptic to install AI1 bundle in India

Zebra Medical Vision, an Israel-based medical imaging analytics firm, reportedly announced its collaboration with Medsynaptic Pvt Ltd, a leading firm in PACS and Teleradiology in India aimed at developing cutting edge solutions in Healthcare IT. This integration will allow Zebra-Medical's all-in-one AI1 bundle solution to support the care of more than 40 million people who are covered under Apollo Hospitals. This makes this implementation the biggest AI installation in the country till date. Medsynaptic and Zebra Medical Vision will be presenting the joint solution during the 9th edition of International Conference on Transforming Healthcare with IT, being conducted between September 13 and 14, 2019 in Hyderabad, India. Medsynaptic is consistently introducing innovation and novel technologies in Teleradiology and the Picture Archival & Communications System (PACS) space in India. The firm's flagship 'Medsynapse PACS' was the country's first solution to incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as Zero Footprint Viewer designed for tablets and mobiles, data mining tools and VNA (Vendor Neutral Archive). Owing to this collaboration, Apollo Hospitals, India's biggest hospital network, is now integrated fully with Zebra Medical's AI algorithms that are saving lives throughout the country and transforming the healthcare industry. Earlier, in March 2019, government of India gave an substantial boost for implementation of medical imaging AI in the country, opening doors for the new initiative through the India-Israel Innovation Fund (I 4 F). These funds were approved to authorize, co-develop as well as deploy medical imaging AI (Artificial Intelligence) throughout India, and to augment Tuberculosis (TB) screening abilities across rural areas.
